Thoughts

Many people know about Bob Baer. He was the basis for the movie Syriana and other spy movies and books. As an ex-CIA agent, he lived all this. I learned about him after an episode of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me where he was the guest. His story of being arrested by the FBI for trying to assasinate Saddam Hussein piqued my interest so I bought the first book.

It was very good read if you like spy stories. If you do not, you will not enjoy it. So of course after the first, I read the 21 Laws for Assassins. The same holds true for this book; its fun for people who like spy stories. However this one also made me think quite a bit about the role of murder in our society and when it may be deemed necessary.
